PROCOLOMBIA [ACTIVATION + CONFERENCE] - Printcloud x EventCollective

Experience Colombia! Printcloud teamed up with EventCollective to help facilitate all the print material for the PROCOLOMBIA conference downtown Toronto in October 2019. Procolombia is a government agency that promotes tourism and trade with Colombia around the world.

In addition to being their exclusive print partner for all print material for the conference, Procolombia sourced us to create an immersive experience recreating the sites, sounds, and smell(coffee) of Colombia in an Activation in the upscale Yorkville Village Shopping Centre.

Printcloud created an interactive Activation where mall guests would dance to the sounds from the various regions in Colombia and are rewarded with a cup of ethically sourced Colombian Coffee brewed by the Yury the owner of Taste of Colombia - Fair Trade Coffee Shop from Oakville, Ontario.

Yury is a proud native from Medellin, Colombia who opened her store to not only serve a terrific cup of coffee but to also share her heritage through evening dance lessons in her Cafe. Check out Yury and the Taste of Colombia here.

Authenticity. One of the core values when we create an activation. Whenever we get the opportunity to create a great activation we think about how we can make an impact. Adding a strong community advocate like Yury and two dancers from her dancing classes to be part of our activation was critical to making this experience valuable to our client. They all had a deep love for their Colombian heritage that they can share with guests and help promote tourism and business.
